Ian Trueger

I write about food, religion, culture and politics. My work has been featured in the BBC, The FT, The Washington Post, Quartz, The Fence, Scroll.in and The Cheese Magazine among other publications. I'm currently working on a book about pigs—you can find my substack exploring some of its ideas here. I did my undergraduate degree at Columbia University and an MPhil at École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS). I live in Marseille. My literary gent is Mel Flashman at Janklow & Nesbit.
